Staring down at every musician, tattoo artist and exuberant guest this weekend during the 2023 INKcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival was the world-famous Ohio State Reformatory. The festival ran Friday through Sunday, drawing a total of more than 75,000 guests from across the globe.

Tim McGraw, Lee Brice and Dierks Bentley will headline the star-studded event, with performances also lined up from LOCASH, Whiskey Myers, Chris Janson and more.

Ohio's 2024 INKcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival returns to the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield July 19. The three-day lineup includes over 60 bands, with appearances by Breaking Benjamin, Godsmack and Shinedown.

Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival draws 75,000 people from 50 states and 10 countries, according to Daniel Janssen, the event's cofounder. "As an Ohioan, I couldn't be prouder that these rockers choose this city and state as their summer destination vacation," Janssen said.

Hundreds of festival goers get inked during the event, inside the historical Ohio State Reformatory. You have to have a pass to the festival in order to get a tattoo from one of the 115 artists. Artists come from as far as Kansas City and New York.
