Laser hair removal is a trending subject. The questions is, should I or should I not? Do I want to continue shaving and/ or waxing? Or better yet is it even Worth it?! Don’t worry look no further, as I will answer all your questions that you may possibly have!
Q: IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL SAFE ?
A: Laser Hair removal has been around since 1960. Laser hair removal is the process of using laser pulses to eventually permanately destroy the hair follicles.
Q: LASER HAIR REMOVAL PRICE?
A: Honestly, it depends on where you go. What parts of the body you plan on getting done. What potential packages you salon of choice offers, etc. As for someone like me who has went through getting laser removal in 4 places on my body… I had GREAT service, and only paid $784 for all of mine. SO again, it just depends.

A: GOOGLE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!!! I looked at so many reviews, called. Once I found my salon that I felt was great for me, then i booked an appointment.
Q: WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GET IT?
A: I decided to get laser hair removal because of CONVENIENCE. You don’t have to worry about shaving your legs any more or under your armpits, or wherever you decide to get laser removal thats essentially one less thing you have to worry about. When I wear tank tops or that cute short dress.. Guess what? I do not have to go rush and go shave anymore. Its convenient.
Q: DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL HURT?
A: Laser hair removal is FAR from painful. It feels more like a tiny pinch sensation, and it tolerable compared to waxing! If I could describe the feeling as an experience, I would say laser hair removal in certain areas of choice like the brazilian area feels like someone has a rubber band and just won’t stop popping you with it! IF you can imagine the feeling!? But by no means does it feel painful. Stating this, I will GLADLY take laser removal over that ANY day of the week.
Each time you go in to have your treatments done, the voltage does go up a tiny bit higher, but also as time progresses.. You kind of get used to the laser treatments.
Q:HOW MANY TREATMENTS?
A: Everyone is a little different. Stating this, the typical average is anywhere between 8- 10 treatments. It also varies on area as well!? Meaning, armpits, lower legs, happy trail, are easier and less harder to treat versus the brazilian laser treatment! Then after that, they recommend going once every year for small maintenance if needed.
Q: DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL LAST?
A: It is pretty much the same routine as when you go in for your first as well as your last. You will need to stop tweezing, plucking, waxing, etc. The only thing you must do before EACH treatment is shave. The reason you shave is because you are only getting the top portion above the skin, and not the actual follicle. versus when you tweeze, pluck and/ or wax before treatments.. There is nothing for them to laser away because you already took your follicle out. Next, DO NOT add any lotions, creams, etc on any place that you are planning to get your laser treatment.
Also, keep in mind you must shave the day before your treatment, and not the day of!
Q: WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT!?
A: You can expect to be red or in other words your skin to be a little irritated looking in the places that you received treatments. Its best not wear tight clothes that can cause rubbing sensation onto areas. It is also important that you still do not tweeze or pluck or wax hairs. ONLY SHAVE!
Q: ANY LIMITATIONS?
A: After treatment, no swimming, working out, scratching or itching(As those areas that have just been treated, can be a little itchy sometimes).

Overall, choosing to get laser hair removal has been an AMAZING choice that I made. I highly recommend if you are debating on go through with these services to just go for it because you will NOT be disappointed!
